daily or workday routine and into our cozy café kitchen, where collaboration, creativity, and a dash of friendly competition come to life. The challenge?

THE CONCEPT
Each group will take on the challenge of preparing a four-course meal under the guidance of our professional chefs. Working together in small teams, participants will plan, prepare, and present their assigned course.
THE PLANNING
The seasonal Café dinner menu will host an array of options for your group. Your group will select one item from each category: salad, appetizer, entrée, and dessert—to create a personalized four-course menu for your event.
If any dietary restrictions exist, we are happy to discuss accommodations, though we encourage maintaining the
four-course structure for the full experience.
THE EXPERIENCE
Upon arrival, guests are welcomed with a brief introduction and safety overview. All participants will receive a Chambers Walk apron and towel before heading into the kitchen.
Teams are guided by our chefs, who provide recipes, culinary tips, and assistance throughout the process. Participants are given approximately two hours to complete their assigned course, followed by a sit-down dinner in our dining room - where each team serves their creation to their peers.
THE DETAILS
The experience last approximately four hours (two hours of cooking and two hours for dining). Timing can be adjusted if needed, and partial meal preparation can be completed in advance to accommodate shorter sessions.
Dependent on headcount, we provide two to three chefs with each overseeing multiple teams to ensure an engaging and well-coordinated experience.
Appetizers may be added for guests to enjoy upon arrival and during preparation. Options available from our catering menus at an additional cost.
THE DRINKS
Soft beverages are included in the rate and Chambers Walk Café offers Working Dog Wine (by the bottle only). We are a BYOB establishment in partnership with Working Dog Winery. You may also provide your own beverages at no additional fee, please deliver in advance.
THE PRICING
We offer two options to suit your group’s schedule and appetite:
- Dinner Experience: Full portions – $70 per person
- Lunch Experience: Reduced portions – $50 per person
Chef Fee: $175 per chef
20% gratuity based on food & beverage total
Applicable NJ sales tax
